About Us


Director, Ngaio Parr

Ngaio (say it Nigh-Oh) Parr Is a multidisciplinary designer, illustrator, and curator. She holds a Bachelor of Design from the Queensland College of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland University of Technology, and currently teaches design and illustration at the University of Technology, Sydney. After working on programs and engagement within public art institutions and taking on the role of gallery manager at Milani Gallery for four years, Ngaio now runs her own independent studio working with an array of collaborators including Redbull, Sibella Court, Triple J and the Institute of Modern Art.



Editor, Meg Madden

Meg Madden is a Senior Policy Writer with NSW Government. She has a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Women's Studies and English from Flinders University, South Australia and an Advanced Diploma in Editing and Publishing. She is currently part-way through a Master of Arts at the University of Sydney, just because she likes the reading lists. Meg volunteers with and is very passionate about the Sydney Story Factory, a not-for-profit creative writing centre for young people in Redfern, where she has a management role. Any spare time after that is spent working as a writer and editor for a range of publications.

Co-Founder Alexandra Winters was integral to the formation of the initial Make Nice: An Un-Conference for Creative Women in 2016. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours.
